About Declan

Declan Armstrong is a Game Mathematician at Easygo Gaming, where he designs the mathematical architecture behind virtual RNG (Random Number Generator) casino products. His day-to-day work involves building probability models, analysing volatility behaviour, balancing game mechanics, and ensuring that the mathematical logic underpinning each product supports fair and engaging outcomes for players.

With deep expertise in the numerical foundations of online casino gaming, Declan brings a uniquely rigorous perspective to casino reviews. Where most reviewers evaluate casinos based on surface impressions, Declan assesses game fairness, RTP accuracy, variance design, and the underlying systems that determine whether a casino is genuinely built to be fair — or not.

Areas of Expertise

• RTP (Return to Player) — understanding and interpreting RTP rates across different game types
• RNG Systems — how random number generation works and what makes an RNG fair and certified
• Volatility & Variance — the mathematical behaviour of low, medium, and high-variance games
• Probability Modelling — the statistical frameworks that govern slot outcomes, bonus frequencies, and jackpot distributions
• Game Balance — how mathematical design choices affect player experience, session length, and entertainment value

Editorial Approach

At JackpotJill Reviews, Declan's role is to provide the mathematical context that makes player reviews more meaningful. When players report fast or slow withdrawals, high or low win rates, or concerns about game fairness, Declan's analysis helps separate genuine issues from statistical variance. His goal is to demystify the numbers behind online gambling and help Australian players make better-informed decisions.

All reviews published on this site undergo editorial review to ensure they are grounded in verifiable facts and genuine player experience. Declan's expert analysis is layered on top of player-submitted ratings to give readers a complete picture.

Writing Philosophy

Declan's writing is technically precise without being inaccessible. He believes that players deserve to understand the mathematics that affects their experience — not to be overwhelmed by jargon, but to have the key concepts explained clearly and honestly. His guiding principle: if a player walks away from an article understanding something they didn't before, the article has done its job.
